Food & drink:
One of the many attractions of Maria Alm that has people returning year after year is the incredibly reasonable priced food and drink, both on the mountain and in resort. You can enjoy delicious local produce for between €5 - €15, with the average price of a pint of beer / glass of wine only €3 (that's about half the price of what you'd expect to pay in most French resorts!). Not to be missed in the centre of resort is the Dorf Cafe, which serves delicious home made pizzas and world class ice creams!
Families:
Maria Alm is renowned for being an extremely family friendly resort. With two first class ski schools to choose from you can be sure that your children will have the time of their lives. There are also many après-ski activities and parties scheduled every week, tailored for children of all ages. Additionally there is a ski-in crèche at the mid-station on the main mountain nearest to resort, where children from as young as 2 can be left to play in a safe and secure environment.
