Welcome to AustriaSuperSki's unique day trip The Hoch! An abreviation of the Hochkonig skiing area, translated it literally means "The High!", which is exactly how you will feel during this exhillarating day in this stunning ski & snowboard region. The beautiful and award winning resort of Maria Alm is your destination for this truly memorable and extremely popular "red-letter" day. With one of the best snow records in Austria our day trips usually run from mid-December to mid-april and prices start from as low as only £149pp!

So you are probably asking yourself how is it possible to wake up in your own bed, and be back there the same night having skied/boarded your heart out all day in the Alps, and having paid little more than it would have cost you to spend a few hours at the SnowDome!? Well this is how we do it...
(Intermediates & Experts)
Fly from London Stansted on the early morning flight (0645) to Salzburg. As soon as you clear passport control we whisk you straight to your private transfer vehicle. Less than hour later you'll be at the gondola where your hire equipment will be waiting for you, along with your lift pass (we had the Metro journalist on the slopes by 1030am!). Follow your AustriaSuperSki Guide for up to 6-hours through the stunning 150km skiing area of The Hochkoenig, and enjoy up to 5 snow-parks along the way. Meet your local off-piste guide for an hour or two of powder heaven! (additional price applies). When dusk falls on your last run of the day, you will ski/board down on empty slopes and straight into Apres ski! Time for a swim and get changed before heading back to the airport. Land back at Stansted by 2300. Get home and try and explain your sun tan the next day!
(Beginners)
The day is structured in a very similar manner except the guide is excluded. We instead take you straight to the slopes most suitable for your ability, and we can even have an instructor waiting for you for anything from an hour lesson to a full day! Trust us, if you've never been skiing or snowboarding before, 6-hours on a real mountain will leave you drooling for more!
